The menu changes regularly and offers freshly prepared cuisine using the finest of Scottish produce. Dishes include rack of lamb, medallions of venison as well as a selection of fresh fish and vegetarian options. 2 course dinner at £26.95 and 3 courses at £31.95. (supplements apply for certain dishes)

Reservations

As Russell's reputation spreads further afield, it is wise to reserve a table in advance to avoid disappointment, especially during the summer months when the restaurant is very busy with residents, locals and visitors.

Seared Scallops, crispy belly of pork, pea puree and madeira jus
Veloute of courgette and parmesan

Grilled Fillet of Salmon, scallop ravioli and a light white wine cream

Crispy Breast of Chicken with creamy tagliatelle, brie and sun-blushed tomatoes

Twice-baked mull cheddar souffle, creamy tagliatelle and chanterelle mushrooms

Celeriac and Brie Filo Tart with warm Puy Lentils
